Everyone has a different perspective on life.
My brother Jack, in one of his deeper, more profound moments.
What do I mean by stories of life?
Stories of the little perks and quirks that come with living. The little things that cannot be described as anything but stories of LIFE. The ups and downs. The questions. The blessings. The issues I’m concerned about. A glimpse into my world and the life I’m living.
I want to live seeing the beauty in the world: but I don’t want to miss struggling with the heartache as well. I want to live each day as an adventure: but I also want to appreciate how fortunate I am in the small things. I want to ask the hard questions. I want to fight for justice. Seek truth. Count my blessings.
In reality, everything I write about on this blog could be called a “story of life”, because people, the adventures, and the beauty make up life. But there is more to life too, and this is where I will write about it.
I want to share my passions, my questions, my thoughts, and my opinions with you.

December 6, 2019 at 7:39 amVery wise from Jack. Something I have learned from my travels, especially when I have the privilege to write other people’s stories, is to strive to acknowledge and mitigate my own prejudices so I can really listen to what people are saying so I can represent their story with the honour it deserves.
I have also found this important in research: to listen to what people in the situation I am studying are saying and allow it to guide my research rather than going in with an agenda.
Look forward to reading more under this category, from your perspective, and from others, through your eyes.
